Shikhar Dhawan gives a glimpse of his cricket practice, says, “set your goals high”

MUMBAI : Shikhar Dhawan is a left-handed opening batsman. He also captains Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League and Delhi in first-class cricket. He made his debut in 2004. He has a huge fan following on social media and he keeps updating his social media pages with interesting posts. 

Recently the dance video of the Indian cricket team on the ‘Kala Chasma’ song went viral and was loved by fans. It was trending for a long time. Now the cricketer has put up a video of his cricket practice session on his Insta page and captioned it, “Set your goals high and don’t stop till you get there!”

Some of his fans replied, “want you back in Indian team as an opener”, Another fan wrote, “Tumhare bina nahi ata 20-20 World Cup..Wo Bhi Australia Me.”

One fan got emotional and wrote, “bhaii apke bina opening incomplete ha Indian team Ki.” 

Commenting on Dhawan who has been missing from the T20 matches, a fan wrote, “i miss u in T20 2022…We miss u.”

Shikhar recently made his Bollywood debut with the Huma Qureshi starrer Double XL. Speaking about it he said, “As an athlete playing for the nation, life is always very hectic. One of my favorite pastimes is to watch good entertaining films. When this opportunity came to me and I heard the story, it made a deep impact on me.”
