Sad! It has emotionally haunted me since, and I am always watching my back: Gauahar Khan opens up on being physically assaulted
MUMBAI: Gauahar Khan is indeed one of the finest talents we have in Bollywood. Over time, we have seen some amazing characters played by the actress getting all the love from fans. Her movie with Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda ’14 Phere’ premiered on ZEE5 and was immensely loved by the audience.

In an Interview with another entertainment portal, when asked about her lowest moment, she remembered when she had been physically assaulted in public.
Gauahar referred to the infamous moment in which a man from the audience slapped her on the grand finale of Honey Singh’s ‘India’s Raw Star’. The incident shocked everybody and paved the way to quite some controversies when the man involved said that it was a publicity stunt.
Talking about the incident, Gauahar now said, ‘It was one of my weakest moments, and not just that, the strange accusations that it led to from the person involved were getting out of hand, with him not realizing how traumatizing it was. It has emotionally haunted me since. I am still very cautious and I am always watching my back.
In the same interview, when asked if she ever felt like giving up on something, she recalled the finale of another reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. She said, ‘I got shouted at by Rohit Shetty when I refused to perform the stunt in the finale, But I was so scared. I just couldn’t do it. I had a problem with trusting the harness because I can trust my body and balance but the harness was just too scary. I wish I would do it, but honestly, I don’t have any regrets.”
