Smita Singh to create havoc in the lives of Thapki and Bihaan as Kosi Devi!

In spite of Dhruv leaving no stone unturned to separate Bihaan from Thapki, they finally ended up together. After facing all the turmoil and mishaps, the drama in Thapki and Bihaan’s lives doesn’t seem to end here as adding more spice to the current track will be the new character, Kosi Devi played by a popular television face – Smita Singh.
Smita Singh’s character Kosi Devi has entered the Pandey Villas with a sheer motive of vengeance. She is a self-willed, stern and an orthodox lady, who will have a strong hold over the family and nobody, would even have the nerve to raise their voice in front of her.

A major revelation is in the offering to shock the audience that will reveal that Kosi Devi is none other than Bihaan’s mother.

Speaking about her character, Smita says, “I am really thrilled to be a part of Thapki Pyaar Ki, as this show has become quite popular among the audience because of its interesting storyline. The character of ‘Kosi Devi’ that I am playing has a lot of grey shades to it and it is different from the roles that I have done in the past. Kosi Devi is a strong and dominating woman and donning this role is going to help me expand my horizon with a new set of acting skills, something I haven’t tried before. Hence, I am really looking forward to this role and I hope the audience will like my character.”
