Rashami Desai’s goes green this Ganesh Chaturthi
Television celebrities are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with much joy and devotion. Some have made sure that their Bappa looks mesmerizing, while others have invested extra effort on the decorations and ambience. Most celebs are promoting ecofriendly Ganpatis.
Popular actress Rashami Desai (Dil Se Dil Tak and Uttran fame) has walked the extra mile to make sure that her Ganpati celebration this year is all about love and devotion along with environmental safety. Rashami is a staunch environmentalist and opted for an ecofriendly Ganpati idol. She surrounded the idol with extensive greenery. As a return gift or prasad, she gave away Tulsi plants to the visitors. She also made a donation box for the poor.
Dalljeet Kaur (Qayamat Ki Raat fame), who visited Rashami’s place for darshan, said ‘It was wonderful. She is a very warm person and vising her and her mom was very nice. The best thing was the prasad that she gave while returning. She gave a Tulsi plant saying Let Love Grow. It is a beautiful gesture and I congratulate her for such an initiative.’
