Jennifer Winget’s television journey


MUMBAI: One of television’s most successful actresses, Jennifer Winget is one of the sexiest women in Asia. She has worked in dozens of serials, all which have been a huge success on television. Currently, she is the highest paid actress on TV.

Her first big break came at the age of 12 as a child artist in the film Akele Hum Akele Tum, which starred Manisha Koirala. Two years later, she was in Kuch Naa Kaho with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

Jenifer got her first big break with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, where she played Sneha, the daughter of the protagonists. She rose to fame with her performance in Dill Mill Gayee, where she essayed the role of Dr. Riddhima.

Jenifer also worked in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saraswatichandra, which was a huge success on television. Her chemistry with Gautam Rode was loved by the viewers,

The biggest turning point came in her career when she signed the show Beyhadh where she played a negative for the first time. The romantic thriller put Jennifer right back on the top TV actors list, and she ended up becoming one of the highest paid actresses on television.

Right now, in her prime, the actress has a new show, Bepannah, where she plays the part of a wife who was betrayed by her husband. Her chemistry with her co-star Harshad Chopda has been appreciated and the serial is doing pretty well on the TRP charts.

The actor had already shot for her big screen debut with director Kunal Kohli, but, sadly, the film did not get any distributors. The movie, Phir Se, was then released on the web.

On the personal front, Jennifer was married to Karan Singh Grover. The duo got married in 2012, but unfortunately, the marriage didn’t work, and they got separated in 2014.

Post that Jennifer has been rumored to be dating her co-star from the serial Dill Mill Gayye and Bepannah, Sehban Azim. But the two have always denied the relationship and stated that they are good friends.

The actress is at her peak right now and we are waiting to see many more interesting roles of hers.
