Ek Ghar Banaunga Watch Online is an Indian television soap opera, currently broadcast on Star Plus channel. The series premiered on 29 April 2013, focuses on the marital dramas within the household of an Indian family.

‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ is the journey of a boy from being a son-in-law to a son.Over time, the values, traditions and the way of life in society have changed. The protagonist of the story, Poonam is faced with the dilemma of how to provide for her parents when she is not around and her only brother is in the U.S. As luck would have it, a solution arises when she is helpless. Her parents are left alone to cope with their situation when her husband, our male protagonist Aakash sees her concern and decides to bring her parents’ home. The problem starts when both parents and the in-laws of the protagonists start staying together. Aakash,a 25 year old boy from Sitapur, Aakash dreams of making it big. At an early age, he dropped out of school and took to his family business of Shamiyanas, wedding catering and decorations. Despite being uneducated, he is extremely smart, intelligent, humorous and compassionate. He has single-handedly turned around the failing business and is the sole provider for his family. Nevertheless, he lets his older brother take the credit. He falls in love with Poonam at first sight. He has a heart of gold, and this can be seen when he brings Poonam’s parents to live in his house when they have nowhere to go.

Poonam, the 20 year old young, caring, playful and perceptive girl Poonam lives in Lucknow. Her brother lives in the US, and is incapable of taking care of their parents. She is burdened with thoughts of how her parents will manage all by themselves post her marriage. Exceptionally brilliant in her studies, she however has no big dreams besides wanting a secure future for her parents. She is modern, beautiful yet extremely down to earth. She loves her family and puts them before herself. Her parents consider her at par with their son, and decide to get her married to shield her from hardships, when faced with the prospect of losing everything they own.

The show opens to show the female protagonist, Poonam’s dilemma, where she faces the challenging situation of marrying and going away or staying unmarried, to take care of her parents. Will she, won’t she? While numerous questions pop in her mind, in comes Aakash, who has the potential to be the perfect solution of all her worries. Unlike the regular ‘perfect bahu’ character, who adapts and wins everyone’s hearts in her husband’s household, this serial is a wave of fresh air as it aims to break the stereotype.
