Supriya Kumari – The story of love, marriage, divorce and re-marriage…
That actress Supriya Kumari has been deeply in love with businessman cum part-time actor Rishikesh Ingle is a known fact.
But not many know that Supriya and Rishikesh have taken their nuptial vows, and are man and wife!!
Yes, the two are married!!!
Well, there’s apparently a solid reason behind this closed-door marriage of Supriya, is what we have got to hear.
And it stems from Supriya’s past life… something which happened before her Bairi Piya days.
A very informed source tells us, “Supriya was in fact married to an NSD actor before this wedding with Rishikesh. Pankaj Sinha was the actor she had got married to. However, her dreams to get big as an actor brought her to Mumbai, and she hit the limelight when she got chosen as the lead of Bairi Piya.”
Time flew, and there were apparently disturbances in their married life, post which Supriya wanted to seek divorce.
The source goes on, “After getting married to Pankaj some 9-10 years back, Supriya decided to divorce him. And one of the main reasons for her deciding to move on, was because she had found love yet again in Rishikesh Ingle. Supriya and Pankaj got legally separated last year, and it was in the same year that Supriya went on to marry Rishikesh.”
We hear that Rishikesh and Supriya got married in a private affair away from Mumbai, in Bangalore on 12 January 2014. And they have not found it important to disclose their marital status to the public.
With this information, we decided to buzz the parties concerned.
Firstly, when we tried to reach through to NSD actor and ex-husband of Supriya, Pankaj he remained out of reach.
When we talked to Rishikesh, he said, “Yes, it is true that I and Supriya are married. We met each other few years back in Goa, through common friends. And we immediately clicked. We got married last year, on 12 January.”
When asked about Supriya being wedded before, he simply rubbished the news, calling it “False.”
We then buzzed Supriya, who too admitted on being married to Rishikesh. “Yes, it is true that I am married.”
When asked why they did not bring it out in the open, she said, “We got married at the time when my movie Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami’s making was on. And the concerned people did not want my marriage news to break out in the media, creating unnecessary hype for the movie. Hence we decided to go about it silently.”
Well, we then probed Supriya about her first marriage, and she went on to deny it. “It’s not true at all. I don’t know from where you have got this news.”
Well, everyone living has a past to deal with… And guess it’s absolutely fine to seek happiness post a setback…
What say, folks? Here’s wishing Supriya and Rishikesh a great life ahead.
