Priyank Sharma and Harshita Gaur injured on the sets of Punchbeat

MUMBAI: An actor’s job is no cakewalk. Long hours of shoot and the fact that they always have to be on their toes sometimes take a toll on them. In the process of acting, actors often get carried away with their performance, leading to mishaps.

Something similar happened on the sets of popular youth-based web series Punchbeat. The leads Priyank Sharma, who is known for participating in MTV Roadies, Splitsvilla 10, and Bigg Boss 11, and Harshita Gaur, who rose to fame with Sadda Haq, ended up injuring themselves. In the sequence, Rahat (Priyank) was supposed to throw a chair in the presence of Divyanka (Harshita). In a turn of events, Priyank, who was pretty engrossed in the sequence, ended up injuring Harshita’s and his own face. Priyank got a little injury around his nose, whereas Harshita’s cheeks were hurt. The production halted the shoot for some time.

Fortunately, both Harshita and Priyank are better now.
