My character in Devanshi is mysterious: Piyush Sahdev
COLORS’ popular drama Devanshi has managed to capture audience’s attention with its interesting storyline and plot twists. While Devanshi (Helly Shah) has returned as Kalki to wreck havoc in Vardaan (Mudit Nayar) and Kusum Sundari’s (Karuna Pandey) lives, a new entry in the form of Pawan Rastogi is set to amp up the drama levels manifold. Essaying this character will be television hottie Piyush Sahdev.
Pawan is a transport agency owner who has been working hand-in-hand with Devanshi. A street smart insomniac with a very colourful personality, Pawan plots with Devanshi to make Kusum Sundari pay for her deeds. Though he maintains a tough persona, Pawan is emotionally vulnerable and has secrets in his past that keep coming to the brim as he gets closer to Devanshi.
Speaking about his entry on the show, actor Piyush Sahdev said, “Devanshi’s concept is quite brilliant and my entry has been plotted at a juncture where the drama is at its peak. Pawan is a mysterious person and has become Devanshi’s support system in her fight against Kusum Sundari. This character is very different from what I have played in the past, and will give viewers a glimpse of a very different side of me as an actor. I am very excited about this project, and I am hoping that the audience will appreciate and support my character.”
