Exclusive! I request the makers to not make us shoot in heavy clothes and jewellery during summers: Shiny Doshi
MUMBAI: Shiny Doshi, who gained immense popularity with her character portrayal as Dhara in Star Plus’ Pandya Store, has a request to TV makers to not shoot wedding tracks during summer.
She shared, “We keep entertaining each other on the sets. It’s been a year that the show is on, and more than our family, we are together with our cast members, so naturally we bond like a family. We play music, and these days, we are bingeing on waffles and ice-creams.”
She added, “Some days back, the weather was so pleasant, and now, it has become too hot. It is becoming all the more tedious as we are shooting wedding sequences. So, shooting without air-conditioning for 2 seconds is also not possible. I feel these wedding sequences should get banned during summer. It gets so difficult to shoot with heavy lehengas and jewellery in such scorching heat. Even make-up doesn’t stay on our face as we sweat. So, I have a request to the makers to please not make us wear heavy clothes and jewellery during summer.”
Pandya Store is produced by Sphere Origins starring Shiny Doshi, Kinshuk Mahajan, Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Akshay Kharodia, Simran Budharup, and Mohit Parmar in the lead roles.
Shiny is also known for portraying Kusum Desai in Saraswatichandra, Sarojini Singh in Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal, Mahi Sengupta in Jamai Raja, and Radha in Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran. In 2017, she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8.
On the personal front, Shiny got married to long-time boyfriend Lavesh Khairajani on July 15, 2021.
