Chennai Express fame Priyamani to star alongside Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man
MUMBAI: Go Goa Gone fame Raj and DK are coming up with a digital series, The Family Man, for Amazon Prime. The 10-episode miniseries, where film actor Manoj Bajpayee plays one of the leads, revolves around agents. Film actor Sharib Hashmi known for his stint in critically acclaimed films like Slumdog Millionaire, Filmistaan and such, also plays a pivotal role.
business cash has exclusively learnt that joining the cast would be popular actress Priyamani. The 33-year old actress is a prominent name in the regional cinema ranging from Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The National and Filmfare Awardee, Priyamani will make her digital debut with this series. In the Hindi space, Priyamani was seen in Chennai Express in a special appearance in the song ‘One, Two, Three, Four’. The actress is an extremely popular name in the South Indian film industry. She has been part of many blockbusters in the South.
Although not much is known about her character but a reliable source revealed that her character is going to be one of the leads.
The shooting of the project has already gone on floors.
