Baksho Bodol has satisfied my hunger of playing a comic role: Kushal Chakraborty
Ace actor Kushal Chakraborty, who is playing a key role on Zee Bangla’s upcoming rom com ‘Baksho Bodol’, says that he is glad to bag a comedy role on the show.
The Blues Production, which stars Vivek Trivedi and Sairity Banerjee in the lead roles, will see Kushal in a full on comic role, who loves to eat a lot but can’t owing to health issues.
At the recent press meet of the show, the actor said, “I have played variety of characters but I couldn’t explore comedy much. I have been cast in comedy roles by a very few people and for a very few times because may be the others did not have that faith in me. So, I am really glad that Snehasish (Chakraborty of Blues Production) has cast me in a completely comic role in Baksho Bodol.”
He further added saying, “Every actor is hungry for some specific kind of roles and I am no exception. Baksho Bodol has satisfied my hunger. I am very content and satisfied that I got this opportunity but at the same time it’s a challenge to play my part convincingly. With great hope, the writer, director and the producer have given me this responsibility and it’s my duty to justify my work.”
This is what dedication is all about!
So, gear up to catch the actor in action!
Kick-starting from 24 July, Baksho Bodol will air every Monday to Sunday at 7 pm.
