Age is just a state of mind: Indrani Haldar
The powerhouse of talent, Indrani Haldar, celebrated her birthday in a grand style on the sets of Goyenda Ginni at Bharat Lakshmi Studio, where her cast-mates threw her a surprise birthday bash.
“It was so thoughtful of them. They decorated the floor with balloons and bubbles and showered me with a number of gifts like a magic cup, photo collage etc. I cut the cake at 12 am. I was gifted six cakes including a six pound chocolate cake from Shree Venkatesh Films,” she shared.
“Later, we organised a high tea where my mom cooked for everyone,” she added.
So, who was the first one from the industry to wish her on her birthday? “They were Chaitali Dasgupta and Aditi. Prosenjit Chatterjee and Abir Chatterjee wished me too,” she said.
On hearing Prosenjit’s name, we told her that the superstar of T-Town has wished her on Facebook, the lady responded with a warm smile, “He has also wished me personally on WhatsApp. He can never forget my birthday because his son (Trishanjit Chatterjee) and I share the same birth date.”
We asked the actress to share her thoughts on the significance of birthdays in her life, “I am not a person who celebrates her birthday. I feel honoured when people make me feel special on this day. There were 75 technicians who weaved the plan to surprise me. Their love, affection and support means a lot to me,” she replied.
Does growing old bother you? “Not at all! It is all about the state of mind.”
Talking about her New Year resolution, she quipped, “It’s the same. Every year, I promise myself to remain positive and not get trapped by negative thoughts. I want to work hard and remain honest and committed to people and my work.”
