Hydrophobic Helly Shah learns 'swimming' for a river sequence in Colors' Swaragini
Helly Shah, who essays the role of Swara in Colors’ popular show, Swaragini (Rashmi Sharma Productions) recently chose to fight her ‘fear’ in order to give the best shot for a particular sequence.
Well, the scene demanded Helly to shoot in water. But the major hiccup for the girl was that she had been water phobic from childhood.
However, Helly, we hear mustered courage to learn swimming for a month or so, before she took to the waters to shoot the scene…
Wow, must say, brave job girl!!
As per our source, “Swaragini will see a major highpoint very soon, wherein Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will push Swara into the river.”
Since it was the demand of the situation, Helly took time out to learn swimming and get rid of her fear for water. And she did exactly that, and got confident of carrying out the scene well. However, it is believed that the weather played spoilsport and it rained a lot, on the day when they had to shoot this sequence.
But Helly was determined to get into the water and face the challenge.
A source who was witness to this brave act of the girl said, “Helly wanted the rains to stop, and chose to perform the sequence after that. However, when she got into water, she initially struggled as the water was too cold, and was very rough. But the hard-working Helly practiced the scene for 4-5 times, before giving the final shot.”
When contacted, Helly told us, “Very true!! I was informed earlier about such a scene coming. Since I was hydrophobic, I decided to attend swimming classes to ready myself for the scene. I managed to attend more than 20 classes, and was confident enough of getting through with the scene. Today, because of this sequence, I can swim, and I am more or less out of the phobia I had. The scene was really tough, but I enjoyed doing it.”
Super, Helly…
