I am not bothered about the length of my role: Varun Badola
The talented Varun Badola is a regular fixture on TV, giving us a fabulous glimpse of his talent in Koshish, Astitva, Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Phir Subah Hogi, and Tumhari Paakhi, among many others.
The actor is currently seen essaying the role of a senior guard Raghav Shrivastav on Star Plus’ Mere Angne Mein (Sphere Origins).“He is a man who has seen a lot of hardships that his mother had to go through. He loves and respects her a lot and will never go against her even if she is wrong. Now how this equation changes with the entry of a bahu is for the viewers to see,” he said while talking about his character.
Talking about how Varun doesn’t relate to the character, he said, “He is very different from my personality so it was really weird working on the character. I wasn’t really sure how I would be able to pull it off, but things are slowly falling into place and I am all set for a new experience.”
When we asked him if he was satisfied playing the second lead, the actor said, “Such things don’t bother me at all! I want to act. Period. When I am performing, I only want to do some substantial work without worrying about the length and space of the character.”
Since the show is about different ideologies of youngsters, we asked what the scenario was while he was growing up. “We had a very chilled-out upbringing and all of us (Varun and his two siblings) were really independent. We stayed in Delhi and had a lot of freedom to do what we desired,” said Varun
And finally, when we asked him what he planned to his children, the good looking guy said, “They would be the one answering how I fared as a father! I would want them to be passionate about whatever they take up in life. And of course, they should lead a normal and happy life.”
Great thought, Varun!
