Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actress Vidisha Srivastava aka Anita Bhabhi has announced her pregnancy; due date is in July

Vidisha Srivastava, who replaced Saumya Tandon in the popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, recently surprised her fans by announcing her pregnancy. The actress, who tied the knot with businessman Sayak Paul in December 2018, is welcoming her first child in July. Recently the actress shared about her pregnancy along with a bold photoshoot, revealing that she wanted it to be a reminder of how she looked during her pregnancy.

In an interview with ETimes, Vidisha Srivastava opened up about the reason for her doing this photoshoot, saying, “I wanted to do a photo shoot that would remind me of the way I looked during my pregnancy. This photo shoot was about accepting and respecting the new me. I wanted to keep it real and full of love.” She also went on to assert that she would continue working on the show even in the upcoming stages of her pregnancy because she loves to work. “Work is therapeutic, and I will keep shooting till I can. I get up, move around and talk to people, and shoot comic scenes.”

She also revealed that she would be taking a short maternity break and how she tries to cover up her pregnancy on screen adding, “I will take a short break for about a month after the delivery and resume work as soon as possible. The production house has been very accommodating, and the unit keeps giving me breaks during the day. I designed my clothes in a way that my baby bump doesn’t show too much,”

Further speaking about spending time at her family home, Vidisha continued, “God’s plans are the best. My husband has been my strongest support and will move from Ranchi to Mumbai after my delivery.” She also expressed her gratitude towards the producers of show for extending their support during this crucial stage as she concluded, “I didn’t know how to break the news to my producers, as I got pregnant 10 months after joining the show. To my surprise, the producers congratulated me. I was certain about being able to manage the shoot, as Saumya Tandon also shot for the show through her pregnancy.”

Along with Vidisha Srivastava, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai also stars Shubhangi Atre, Aasif Sheikh, Rohitash Gaud in lead roles.
