Bigg Boss 15: Explosive! Did you know Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s mother once thought she would be put to asylum, the actor clarifies

MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 15’s latest episode saw the housemates opening their heart out and revealing their deep secrets during a sponsored task. During the task, Devoleena Bhattacharjee revealed a secret about her life and got emotional. It was Nishant Bhat’s turn to read out a secret about a contestant’s life and guess who was it.

Nishant picked up a chit and read out that the contestant wanted her mother to take to a foreign trip but her mother felt that her daughter was planning to send her to a mental asylum. Nishant took Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s name and it turned out to be right.
Devoleena shared with the housemates that her suffers from mental illness and in 2014-15 around that time her mother would stay in Mumbai with her. Devoleena wanted to take her on a foreign trip and it was going to be her first one and later Devoleena got to know that her mother was scared that she might send her to a mental asylum like before for treatment.

She broke down into tears and revealed that her childhood was like that. Rakhi Sawant immediately came forwards and kissed and hugged Devoleena. Nishant Bhat also went ahead and apologised to Devoleena.

Devoleena recently performed a task exceptionally well in which she stood on a pole for more than 15-17 hours. She was pitted against her friend-turned-foe, Rashami Desai was also tortured the most. Rashami won the task, but Devoleena earned a lot of appreciation from the fans and they called her Dhakad girl on social media.
