1] Sakshi was born in a middle-class family in Alwar, Rajasthan. Acting was never an option for her. Her complete focus was on a corporate career. She worked as a sales trainee at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. She also worked in a cloth and accessory store named Khazana, where she earned a monthly stipend of Rs. 900.
2] Sakshi started off her acting career with a show on Doordarshan: Albela Sur Mela. It was a music-based show, and she got an opportunity to co-host it when after her graduation, a friend called her to audition for it.
3] Like every actor of the small screen, even Sakshi dreamt of making it big in Bollywood. Her dream did come true but only partly. Sakshi got an opportunity to work with Bollywood’s Gadar Sunny Deol in Mohalla Assi. Unfortunately, the film, which was slated to release in 2012, hasn’t seen the light of day. However, she fulfilled that dream when bagged a role in Dangal (2016), where she worked with superstar Aamir Khan and played the role of his wife.
