#14IndianTellyAwards: VOTE now – Fresh New Face (Male)
Why should girls have all the fun, eh? The boy gang is as sassy as their girl counterparts too! So we have decided to take a look at the fresh faces in the male category who have taken the industry by a storm!
Pearl V Puri as Abeer (Phir Bhi Na Maane…Badtameez Dil):
When the story revolves around a couple who rediscovers love post their divorce. It’s difficult to get the various shades of emotions right, especially when you’re new to the world of acting. But Pear does justice to his name and shines bright!
Rohan Gandotra as Akash (Everest):
When you’re letting the female lead take over in a show, and still making an impact with your acting chops, you know you’re doing it right! Rohan, with his supressed feelings for the female lead, his ambitions in scaling the Everest and the various highs and lows of life, is superb.
Priyanshu Jora as Titu (Tu Mera Hero):
This modern day saga traces the life of Titu and Panchhi who go through a myriad of emotions to fight for their love. Titu is practical, romantic and an utterly adorable, even though he is lazy. Priyanshu does a neat job in this role.
Siddharth Nigam as Rudra (Mahakumbh):
Playing a mythological character is not a cakewalk. But it sure looks like one for Siddharth aka Rudra. The child actor nails the intense rule with a practiced ease, which even experienced actors are shy of. Will he walk away with the trophy right under older actors’ noses?
Sarrtaj Gill as Priyom (Begusarai):
Getting the lingo of a village tucked away in the interiors of Bihar is tough. On top of that, able to use swords, swear words and strategies in the same breadth is not easy at all. Kudos to Sartaj for coming out on tops in the acting department.
